The Chiefs show the Steelers what they are missing out on

The Steelers’ offensive line has been the talk of many a disgruntled fan. The unit was coming off a bad season and after minimal contributions, it has somehow gotten even worse. There were many people hoping for an offensive lineman early in the draft, but the team waited until the third round to address the line with the selection of Kendrick Green. Now, the team will get to witness what they missed out on.

One of the surest-looking prospects in the draft was Creed Humphrey. The former Sooner was seen as the draft’s top center and a safe pick. The Chiefs have gotten even more out of the rookies, as he currently ranks as the league’s top center overall. The Steelers passed on him twice in favor of Green who has been less than stellar.

The Chiefs also landed Trey Smith late in the draft while also bringing in top names like Joe Thuney and Orlando Brown to block. They now have one of the better lines in the league and it makes that Chiefs offense that much more potent. The Steelers should honestly be taking notes, as this is how you build a winning team. Unfortunately, they will experience that in surplus as the Chiefs line is set to dominate this week.
