Steelers young players to show promise

In addition to rooting for a pair of spectacular performances from Ben Roethlisberger and T.J. Watt, all Steelers fans want to see a glimmer of hope for the future and should be rooting for their young players to perform particularly well.

The problem is that many of these players have been either underwhelming or straight-up disappointing so far. Kendrick Green is a perfect example. Many fans are furious that the team passed on some quality interior offensive line talent only to take Green in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. So far, Green has been nothing short of terrible. He is listed as questionable for tonight’s game.

Other players we need to see perform well include Dan Moore Jr., Isaiahh Loudermilk, and Carlos Davis. Meanwhile, we would love to get a few massive performances out of some of the future key players on this team in Pat Freiermuth and Najee Harris.

Pittsburgh has missed far too often in the NFL Draft in recent years, and we really need to see some signs of life out of these players in the final two weeks. Let’s hope they step up their game against the Browns.

It’s incredibly unlikely that the Steelers make the playoffs at this point, but we have plenty to keep our eyes on tonight. Let’s hope these players have great performances against the Browns.
