2. Week 14, 2017 vs Baltimore

This game was absolutely everywhere for all 60 minutes, and it was the ultimate Ben Roethlisberger game.

The Steelers jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first half after two Le’Veon Bell touchdowns- one through the air and one on the ground. The Ravens scored two touchdowns in the second quarter while Pittsburgh added two Chris Boswell field goals to go into halftime with a 20-14 lead. Baltimore owned the third quarter, though.

Justin Tucker kicked a field goal with 10 minutes remaining in the third, and the Ravens scored on two short rushing touchdowns before the quarter was over. 17 unanswered points gave the Ravens a 31-20 lead.

This is when Roethlisberger, Bell, and Antonio Brown took over. Down 11, Ben led the Steelers down the field for a field goal to make it a one-score game. They got the ball back shortly after and capitalized with a Roosevelt Nix touchdown run but failed the two-point conversion, which kept the Ravens in front 31-29. Baltimore then scored on another touchdown from Javorius Allen to extend the lead back to nine with 6:44 remaining.

Ben did what Ben does and led Pittsburgh downfield again before Le’Veon Bell had one of the most impressive 11-yard touchdown runs you’ll ever see. Pittsburgh stalled Baltimore and got the ball back with 2:25 remaining. Ben hit Jesse James for three straight completions, before hitting Antonio Brown for 34 yards to get into Baltimore territory. This set up Chris Boswell for the game-winning 46-yard field goal, and Pittsburgh completed the comeback to get to 11-2.

Roethlisberger became the first quarterback in NFL history to have three games of 500 yards passing, and Pittsburgh looked like a team who was Super Bowl bound.
