Other game milestones for the Steelers rookie

His next milestone is he became the 3rd rookie in Steelers history and the first since James Conner to have a rushing performance of 134 plus rushing yards against the Browns. If you expand that to the AFC North, then he is the 4th as Willie Parker surpassed the 134-yard mark in 2005 against Cincinnati.

His milestones didn’t end there either. His outburst was the most yards for a Steelers running back since Le’Veon Bell’s 2017 performance against Kansas City. However, it is the most rushing yards in a home game since DeAngelo Williams’ 170 rushing yards against the Raiders in 2015.

Of course, a bit odder statistic is the last Steelers running back to exceed 188 rushing yards at home was Willie parker in a 2006 game against Cleveland when he rushed for 223 yards. Parker had two home games exceeding 200 rushing yards in 2006.

Last but not least Najee had his longest rush of the season, as well, when he ripped off a 37-yard touchdown in the 4th quarter, capping off his milestone night.

While it may have been Big Ben’s last hurrah Monday night, Najee made a statement that he is a rushing threat anytime he touches the ball. It may have taken 16 games for him to make the statement, but somehow it seems fitting he did it, helping Big Ben go out with one last home victory.
