Steelers Roethlisberger balls out for one last time

Unless the Steelers get a bit of help, week 18 will likely be the last for Roethlisberger. With that all in mind and based on the game plan from last week against the Browns, it seems like Roethlisberger will have a huge say in what the offense does. He will definitely come out throwing the ball.

With Najee Harris coming off of his best rushing performance of the season, the Ravens will likely be stacking the box early in hopes of preventing a big game from the rookie. The Steelers should expect that going in, which makes it all the more likely the team turns to Roethlisberger early to get the offense moving.

Expect the Steelers to give the Ravens a heavy dose of their receivers. Even a name like Ray-Ray McCloud could go off given Roethlisberger’s tendency to throw short to him. For the top three guys, expect them to see a bunch of targets as Roethlisberger throws early and often in his potentially final game. It’ll be interesting to see the final results, but I expect Roethlisberger to sling the ball all over the field.
