It was an incredibly tense game, but the team pulled out a needed win, so here are the winners and losers from the Steelers’ 16-13 win over the Ravens.

Aspects of this game weren’t pretty, and the game as a whole was slow-paced, but the Steelers did what they needed to and got the big win. With the Jaguars coming up with the surprising win as well, this team is now focused on what to do in the playoffs.

Despite the team getting the vital win, there aren’t many clear winners and losers since both sides of the ball were pretty average. That said, here are the ultimate winners and losers from the Steelers’ week 18 win over the Ravens.

Steelers winner: Chris Boswell

Chris Boswell is a player that I feel like can be praised every week. He has become the model of consistency from almost anywhere on the field. In a game like this one, having a kicker that is as good as Boswell is the difference between winning and losing. He was 3/3 on the day, with his final kick of the afternoon being the walk-off winner in overtime.

Given how bad the field condition was in this game, the fact that Boswell didn’t miss a kick is the reason that we are celebrating a win right now. He is worth every penny that he makes and has become a no-brainer option to try and extend this offseason. Boswell is almost automatic at this point. He is the difference during the weeks that the offense struggles.
