Zamir White, RB, Georgia

Zamir White exits the Georgia Bulldogs program at the very top of the college football mountain. The team just won the National Championship after years of coming up short. White was a big part of the team and that will help his case as being a top tier back in this class.

He has not put up the monster numbers that many would hope for when you look at a player of his stature. He has accomplished a lot throughout his career with overall team success but individually he hasn’t produced what an NFL team will be looking for in the draft.

Georgia normally implements a committee-style approach to their running backs and they have done that since White became the starter. It complimented the Bulldogs nicely but that will negatively affect White’s stock. Football teams want full-time starters that share that same experience in the collegiate ranks.

The Steelers could be interested in this player as he knows how to share the backfield and get some limited snaps. That could transition nicely with him playing behind Najee Harris. It is not known what this prospect’s draft projection currently is. He could be taken at some point from the third to fifth round depending on how he tests during the combine.
