Isaiah Spiller, RB, Texas A&M

Isaiah Spiller is another Junior that joins this 2022 draft class at running back. He is a dynamic player that has constantly put up great numbers while at Texas A&M. Spiller also has youth on his side as he won’t turn 21 until this upcoming August. That youth and the upside it brings with it will surely interest NFL teams.

This back is another one that has not shown much in the receiving game. That will have to be developed as this player continues to progress in his career. It seems like an extra season with the Aggies would’ve been the better decision but joining a weaker class will give him a chance at being the top back taken.

This prospect has been consistent ever since he got to campus in Texas. He totaled almost or over 1,000 rushing yards over the past three seasons there. He has also tallied on 25 rushing touchdowns over the same span. He is a highly productive player that has shown the ability to continue to grow while being a nice performer.

Whichever club takes this player will be drafting him more on his potential instead of a plug-and-play starter. He has a high ceiling and that will get a team to select him at some point on day two of the draft. He has the best potential out of any other back in this class. This prospect might be a little too highly graded for the Steelers to consider but he would be an interesting option if he fell in the draft.
