Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts

With the disappointment of not making the playoffs, the Colts might be looking to move off of Carson Wentz this offseason. Chris Ballard, the current General Manager for Colts has said he will not commit to Wentz for the 2022 season. If they do plan to get rid of Wentz during the offseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers should make a call.

Wentz finished the 2021 season with 27 touchdowns to only 7 interceptions. He had over 3500 yards passing and for the most part, was very efficient throughout the season. There have been rumors that the Colts do not want him part of the team anymore and that he is not very well-liked in the locker room. This could be problematic but would be worth the risk if it only took a mid to late-round pick to get him to Pittsburgh.

Carson Wentz is the type of quarterback that fits AFC North football. He is a big guy that has a great arm and can move out of the pocket to make a play when he needs to. This could be a match made in heaven if he is truly available this offseason. Both of these quarterbacks would be great options for next season.
