Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

It’s no secret that there was a lot of drama surrounding the quarterback room in Green Bay this past offseason. And while things look to have died down right now due to Aaron Rodgers putting up an MVP caliber season, and the Packers looking to make a Super Bowl run, that doesn’t mean things are completely done and over with.

The Packers and Rodgers seem to be on better terms, and as a result, could stay together for the foreseeable future. If that is the case, one would have to assume Jordan Love would be made available via trade, not only to get something back for him, but also to prove to Rodgers that they are committed to him long term.

It remains to be seen what Jordan Love is as a professional quarterback, but the fact remains that he is young and talented, was a first-round pick, and could be available as a trade piece this offseason. Love made one start this season when Rodgers was on the COVID list and didn’t impress, yet it was just one start, and that start was the first of his career.

There are a lot of unknowns when it comes to Jordan Love as it’s unknown if he will be placed on the trade block, the price to trade for him is also unknown, and he has barely played so it’s risky making a trade for him. Despite all the unknowns, teams that are looking for a quarterback will no doubt be looking into the situation this offseason and determining whether or not he is a player worth targeting.
