1.01, Jacksonville Jaguars: Evan Neal, OT, Alabama

The Jacksonville Jaguars are the worst run organization in the NFL and that is why they always choose in the top 10 selections constantly. They need to give Trevor Lawrence every chance to succeed so building a stable offense around him will help.

Evan Neal is the safest pick in the draft and he will secure the blindside for their franchise quarterback.

1.02, Detroit Lions: Aidan Hutchinson, Edge, Michigan

The Detroit Lions need playmakers on the defensive side of the football. Aidan Hutchinson is one of the best pass rushers in this class and he can be a cornerstone to this franchise going forward. They will still be in a rebuild for the next few years but this will help their defense show signs of hope.

1.03, Houston Texans: Kyle Hamilton, Safety, Notre Dame

The Houston Texans are by far the worst team in football when you look at their roster. It doesn’t have any premier players and they have a lot of issues to fix from A to Z. They get one of the best overall prospects in this draft that was a consensus number one choice at one point before his season slowed down some.

1.04, New York Jets: Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU

The New York Jets just need to draft the best player available when their selection comes but cornerback is a major need. They haven’t had a great corner since Darrelle Revis left many years ago. Starting to build up that defense to hopefully alleviate the pressure off of Zack Wilson should help his progress as well.
