The Steelers have won six Super Bowls in the history of our franchise so which was the best and which was the worst?

Now that Super Bowl LVI has come and gone, I thought it would be interesting to rank the Steelers Super Bowl victories from bottom to top.  Honestly, I don’t believe there is such a thing as a ‘bad’ Super Bowl victory.  Anytime your team’s season culminates in a Super Bowl win, it is a great season.  While some Super Bowls are more exciting than others, every Super Bowl win is special to the team that emerges victorious.

Although my Steelers journey began in 1978, which coincidentally is the year I started watching football with an understanding about what I transpiring on the field, I do have a vague recollection of Super Bowl X.  Frankly, all I really remember, albeit vaguely, is my Dad, who recently passed away and was a life-long Philadelphia Eagles fan, having been born and raised in Philadelphia like I was, cheering for the team wearing the Black and Gold jerseys.

My Dad always referred to the 1970s Steelers teams as ‘Terry and the Pirates’.  Well, while ‘Terry and the Pirates’ were beating the Dallas Cowboys en route to our second straight Super Bowl win, my Dad was cheering us on.  As you know, the Steelers would go on to win four Super Bowls during in decade of the 1970s.

I consider myself fortunate to have witnessed four of our six Super Bowl victories.  Although we are entering year fourteen without a Super Bowl victory, it is, nonetheless, with fondness that I reminisce about the ones we have won over the decades.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at our sixth-best win.
