3rd: Mason Rudolph, Steelers
You can replace Mason Rudolph with just about anyone, he would still be above Baker Mayfield. The predominant reason for this is because everything that surrounds Pittsburgh’s quarterback position–from talent to offensive schemes–is good enough to sweep Mayfield’s Browns (even with an ancient Big Ben).
But with all of that said, neither Rudolph nor anyone else that Pittsburgh may be rolling with this Fall deserves to be any higher than third on this list.
Whoever will be the first to attempt replacing Ben Roethlisberger will probably be, for the most part, an average QB. And with that, the Steelers will be exactly what they were this last season: average.
They may be able to rag on the Browns for beating them down some more, but the list of 2022-23 accomplishments will run very thin after that.
