6 Pro Days Steelers Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert will attend in 2022

Steelers will attend North Carolina Pro day on March 28th
With Florida the only real competitor in terms of scheduling conflicts on March 28th, I fully expect the Pittsburgh Steelers to choose North Carolina. This isn’t necessarily a team that their front office insists on sending their top personnel to, but with Sam Howell working out, Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert are going to want to be here.
Like Willis and Pickett, Howell has been a player linked to the Steelers since early in the 2021 season. Prior to this past season, Howell was a player who was projected to go much higher, and most assumed that he would have been long gone before Pittsburgh was on the clock.
However, after a down season for the Tarheels as a junior, it’s possible that Howell could slide past the Steelers or maybe even out of the first round altogether. This is why Pittsburgh’s brass will be on hand taking notes. Do they like the tools enough to gamble on him?
North Carolina doesn’t really have any other highly-touted prospects, but there will be plenty of teams on hand to get one last good look at quarterback Sam Howell before the 2022 NFL Draft, and I’m betting that Steelers are one of them.
