Offensive grades for Steelers and their rivals entering 2022 draft

Some AFC North powers are in better offensive shape than some others. How should the Pittsburgh Steelers and their rivals be graded entering the draft?

The drafting process in any professional sport has a rather straightforward purpose: to make the participating teams better than they were beforehand, and finding the best talent available to do so is typically easier said than done.

When it comes to the four teams in the AFC North, there are definitely some boxes that need checking in the 2022 installment of the NFL Draft. However, the first step to doing so is finding out where exactly each team stands before draft day arrives. That is what will be done here today for the Ravens, Bengals, Browns and Steelers from an offensive standpoint.

So without further ado, here are the grades for each AFC North franchise’s offense entering the 2022 NFL Draft.

Note that each franchise’s offensive performance as of late won’t hold a lot of water in declaring how good the offense is on paper. For example, the Ravens holding last place in the division after last season will not necessarily result in them having the worst grade on this list.
