Cleveland Browns Offensive Grade: B+

The Cleveland Browns offense isn’t perfect, but it certainly has the groundwork to be in a few years time.

Thanks to the recent acquisitions of Deshaun Watson and Amari Cooper, the recently-lackluster franchise now has a squad headlined by an elite quarterback and big-name wide receiver. This goes without mentioning the fact that the backfield has already had a lethal RB duo consisting of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt (behind a somewhat formidable O-line, no less).

Problems start to arise when looking at who all Watson has to target aside from the aforementioned Cooper.

Beyond the solid-yet-not-great Donovan Peoples-Jones, there isn’t much to be mesmerized about. And going in on a QB like Watson as heavily as Cleveland did is a move that should be accompanied by more than what has been seen so far.

Some depth for the receiving corps–and perhaps a pinch of size for the OL–could make the Browns look more intimidating than they currently are, but the squad could be much worse nonetheless.
