52. . Edge. Jacksonville Jaguars. Aidan Hutchinson. 1. player

Jacksonville retained Cam Robinson, so the consensus selection for the Jaguars is Hutchinson. However, Evan Neal would make better sense to give Jacksonville giving them an extra blocker, but Hutchinson will beef up your pass rush in a hurry. Nevertheless, in this case, Jacksonville goes with the consensus pick.

2. player. 50. . Safety. Detroit Lions. Kyle Hamilton

There is a reason the Lions generally draft in the first ten spots each year; in part, they have general managers taking the wrong players. Don’t expect that to change. The Lions do not need a quarterback, and they do not need a defensive player. They need a dominant offensive lineman. However, this is the Lions we are talking about, and they have two first-round draft choices. They take Kyle Hamilton.

10. . Edge. Houston Texans. Travon Walker. 3. player

The Texans need help with every position. They could just as easily place 21 names on a dartboard, throw a dart, and where ever it lands, draft that player. They do need an edge rusher and 2022 has plenty. The NFL fell in love with Travon Walker at the combine. Kayvon Thibodeaux was the early favorite for the 3rd pick, he gets edged out by walker in this spot.

. Offensive Tackle. New York Jets. Evan Neal. 4. player. 30

Once an early first pick favorite, he slides to the Jets. If they had only one selection, they might pass and draft a corner; however, it makes sense to take the best offensive lineman on the board when you can still grab a cornerback with the 10th selection
