If the giants need anything else, they need an offensive lineman to protect Daniel Jones. As the Giant’s gm said, they threw jones under the bus in 2021. The upshot is that the Giants also have the 7th pick. Do not be surprised if they trade it to gain additional draft picks. If not, then they get defensive help they might need or an offensive weapon.

If the Panthers were smart, they would stick with Darnold, draft Charles Cross and if Darnold still fails to produce, then draft a quarterback in 2022. However, the Panthers want a body to throw in when Darnold falters; Pickett is the most plug-and-play available. So they draft him ahead of even Willis.

player. 31. . Edge. New York Giants. Kayvon Thibodeaux. 7

Thibodeaux’s slide ends. The once projected number three draft choice lands on the Giants. They improve their pass protection and pass rush in one fell swoop. If they can acquire more draft picks, whoever wants Malik Willis might entice the Giants to trade. If it happens, only one team would, and that’s the Steelers.

44. . Quarterback. Atlanta Falcons. Malik Willis. 8. player

Face it; the Falcons may have signed Marcus Mariota; however, he is only there until the Falcons find a franchise replacement for Matt Ryan. The Falcons were in the race for Deshaun Watson at one point. That fell through, though. Unless Willis goes earlier, then the falcons take a wide receiver but only if Willis is not on the board.
