. Offensive Tackle. Seattle Seahawks. Charles Cross. 9. player. 36

Many think the Seahawks might opt for a quarterback here but look at the draft capital they acquired for Russell Wilson. They can take Cross here and build the team while letting Drew Lock play for a season, then take a quarterback in 2022.

30. . Cornerback. New York Jets. Ahmed Gardner. 10. player

Perhaps they might want to take a wide receiver here, but this is the Jets, and they won’t. The Sauce finally finds a home in the Big Apple. Perhaps they modify the nickname to Apple Sauce. The Jets got Evan Neal on their first pick and now get the best corner in the draft. They can now address getting some weapons for Zach Wilson in later rounds.

Garrett Wilson. 11. player. 58. . Wide Receiver. Washington Commanders

Chalk this up as a no-brainer selection for the Commanders. Since they are no longer in the quarterback hunt, they take the highest-ranked receiver and the first receiver off the board. It gives Carson Wentz a deep threat.

player. 60. . Cornerback. Minnesota Vikings. Derek Stingley Jr.. 12

Except for Jordan Davis, this is the most chalked pick of the year. Much like the Patrick Surtain pick was in 2021 for the Cowboys, except that the Broncos took him first. The Vikings not getting Stingley would be a shocker.
