Steelers round 2

One of the picks I feel the most confident about if he is available in the second round is George Pickens hits most of the checkmarks this team looks for in a receiver. His size and speed along make him an intriguing prospect, but his skills on the outside as a receiver are great. A deep receiver class pushes him down, but he has all of the traits of a top receiver.

Georgia had a slew of Steelers coaches and scouts present to work out their various top-level prospects. What stole the show though was Frisman Jackson working out Pickens during his workout though. This is a huge plus in his favor, as the team clearly has him on a shortlist of potential candidates to add to this offense.

Had Pickens remained healthy this past season, he may have been a potential first-round pick. His limited junior season and a deep receiver class hold him to the second round, but the team would likely pounce at the opportunity to draft him in the second round. He would slot in well with this athletic receiver group. One has to imagine he is a favorite of the team for their second-round pick.
