Steelers targets if they traded up to the 4th pick

Now there are two avenues they could go. One is offensive, and the other six are defensive. The positions they would want to consider are cornerback, edge rusher, offensive tackle, or a wide receiver.

Kayvon Thibodeaux, Edge Oregon

Even in this spot, his availability is a little suspect; mock drafts projected him in the top three until the combine; now, many think Travon Walker will be the number one, meaning he could slide to four. Nonetheless, the Steelers have T.J. Watt, a one-man wrecking crew.

Add Thibodeaux to the other side with Cam Heyward in the middle. All the pressure upfront helps the linebackers and the secondary. The Steelers could nearly rival the Steelers defensive line from the 70s. Sure, that’s a tall order, but one can envision it.

Evan Neal, OT  Alabama

This selection needs very little explanation if you know anything about Evan Neal. The kid is 6’7’ and weighs 350 pounds. He’s almost three-quarters the size of former professional wrestler Andre “The Giant.” Anyone, that big needs his own zip code.

Think about the holes he opened up for Najee Harris while at Alabama. Imagine what he could do for Najee on the pro level. Najee could easily rush for 1500-plus yards. Plus, his addition would cut back on the sacks. Too bad Big Ben didn’t have a blocker this big when he played.
