Andrew Booth Jr.: CB, Clemson

Booth was the lone cornerback on his shortlist and the only one to fall out of the first round and the second-highest-rated overall player remaining after Malik Willis, and if he is on the board, you trade up for him.

In all honesty, this selection, trading up for this pick, if anything else, should be the 2nd easiest decision Tomlin could ever make as a head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Plus makes Colbert look good as well in his final draft.

With the departure of Joe Haden, the Steelers could use a cornerback, and Booth would be the perfect one to acquire in a trade. He comes in at 6’0” and 200 pounds. Booth has very agile feet and has a smooth, fast backpedal with top-notch ball judgment and tracking. However, that said Booth’s tackling lacks control at times, and he has false steps and inefficiencies in coverage movements.

Nonetheless, Booth would join a defensive secondary with Cam Sutton playing the opposite side from him and will have Terrell Edmunds returning for 2022 and Minkah Fitzpatrick. Plus, his addition is an instant upgrade; make no doubt about that. Plus, his addition would help give the pass rushers more time to get to the quarterback creating coverage sacks or hurries.
