2nd: Cleveland Browns

If there is anything to know about the Cleveland Browns, it’s that they are very much capable of not finishing next season as the 2nd-best team in the AFC North. However, it can certainly be argued that they are currently looking like it.

The Browns have a star-studded backfield on the offense with Deshaun Watson, Nick Chubb, and Kareem Hunt. The depth on their receiving corps appeared to be rather weak, though. Unlike their neighbors in Cincy, Cleveland made the obvious move and scooped up a pair of promising receivers in the draft. All of that with just a somewhat formidable O-line will be enough to succeed.

Looking over at the defense, it didn’t look too spectacular at face value, either. In response to this concern, the Browns secured multiple playmakers in hopes of healing that wound later on down the road.

Again, Cleveland may not succeed (at least not right away), but it has clearly made the moves necessary to do so. With that said, the Browns sneaking into a wild card spot next season might not be a monumental surprise. They look the part, and that’s all they can do at this point.
