The Steelers will look to make a miraculous run in 2022, but these tough opponents will stand in their way.

It is a new era for Pittsburgh and its football team. They have found new faces to fill up their roster after many players departed the team under different circumstances. Ben Roethlisberger is gone and now it is time to move into a future without “seven” calling the shots.

New things can either freshen up something that was starting to get stale or make you realize how much you took the old situation for granted. It was not a great team last year, but they have a younger group this season with a bunch of different opportunities. Youth brings along new excitement, but it also brings along a learning curve too.

The Steelers will need to prove everyone wrong as they have worse expectations than they had in 2021. Not many think that they have a chance to make the playoffs again, despite Mike Tomlin never having a losing season on his resume. They have an uphill battle and will struggle to win some games against top competition.

Steelers will struggle to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022

Tom Brady will be making his return to Heinz Field for the first time in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey. It is going to be a fight that the Steelers will struggle to overcome. This Tampa Bay team is good and has solid starters all over their roster.

They are still considered Super Bowl contenders heading into the season, while the black and gold are opposite of that. This team does not pose a healthy matchup for Pittsburgh and will likely result in a loss. Brady has continuously beaten the Steelers throughout his career and will continue that here.
