The Steelers will struggle to defeat the Ravens this season

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a down year in 2021. They finished with an 8-9 record despite playing in some close contests. They are always going to play the Steelers tough no matter where the clubs are at in the standings.

They always play in meaningful games and that trend happened last season and will occur in 2022 as well. These are always tough games that come down to the wire, but the black and gold have emerged victorious a lot of the time recently. The Ravens will want to change those tides as they continue to build a solid roster around Lamar Jackson and company.

The Ravens have been adding a solid unit this past offseason through free agency and the draft. Those two things have strengthened their roster and made them even better. Jackson and the rest of his teammates are coming back healthy and that will catapult this club back into the playoff conversation.

The Steelers need to recognize where they currently are as a franchise. It is not going to be pretty to win games this season, especially in the AFC North division. It will be a battle that will need to be low-scoring for Pittsburgh to overcome some of their offensive flaws as they did last season.
