Week 16: Raiders @ Steelers

Info: Saturday, December 24th, 8:15 p.m. ET, NFL Network

For whatever reason, the Steelers seem to struggle with the Raiders; home or away, it doesn’t really matter. Last year, Pittsburgh lost to Las Vegas by multiple scores in Week 2. Back in 2018, when the Raiders were just a 4-12 football team, Tomlin’s team once again fell short.

The Steelers can ill afford to let this losing streak continue. This game against the Raiders comes late in the season in Week 16. While this isn’t a divisional game, it could have an impact on AFC conference standings and tiebreakers.

It’s also very possible that a loss this late in the season could eliminate Pittsburgh from playoff contention. This is going to be a nail-biting Christmas Eve contest. Let’s hope Santa comes to the Steel City a little early this year.

With just 17 games in the regular season, every contest is like a playoff win. The Steelers will be able to afford a few losses along the way, but these are three quality matchups in the second half of the season that you aren’t going to want to miss.
