3 offensive tackles Steelers should be tempted to sign in free agency

Steelers should pursue Eric Fisher
Of the available offensive tackles Pittsburgh could explore, Eric Fisher might make the most sense. Despite having a lot of NFL experience under his belt, Fisher just turned 31 years old this offseason and could have multiple good years of play left.
Fisher would not only prove to be a quality stop-gap player for the Steelers, but he would give Pittsburgh an established left tackle who could help protect Kenny Pickett early in his NFL career until they find a more long-term fix at the position.
Fisher didn’t play quite as well as a member of the Colts last year, but he still graded out significantly better than either of Pittsburgh’s starting tackles in 2021.
The Steelers need to come to grips with the fact that they have neglected the offensive line for too long and that they probably shouldn’t settle for underwhelming OT play with guys like Dan Moore and Chukwuma Okorafor. Fisher is a consistent player who is coming from one of the best offensive line units in football.
