3. James Daniels

I don’t care that this man has only been a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers for a few months now, James Daniels immediately shoots up the list as one of the most likable players in the organization. If you don’t have him this high right now, I’m confident that you will soon.

Daniels is incredibly intelligent and of the utmost character. He exuberates confidence and leadership in the way he presents himself. He also shows just how much detail he really knows about assignments when talking to the media. Just watch this clip from Brian Batko of Post-Gazette Sports.

The way Daniels carries himself gives off a very Josh Dobbs-like vibe, as he is both brilliant and humble. Despite grading out as a top-20 NFL guard in each of his first four seasons and dealing with dismal play around him while on the Bears, Daniels will never point the finger.

I’m incredibly excited about what James Daniels brings to the Steelers locker room in terms of both character and leadership. Though he’s just 24 years old, he’s wise beyond his years and it’s impossible not to like this guy.
