Re-draft Leagues

Johnson depending on which fantasy football analyst you talk to, is between a top 10 or top 15 fantasy wide receiver and can be a number one or number two in any fantasy league. Although with the retirement of Big Ben, he will still be the go-to guy in the Steelers offense however, until things shake out with Trubisky and or Pickett, Johnson’s fantasy output could be much lower than fantasy owners might like at least early in 2022.

Nevertheless, Johnson and the Steelers will have their moments in the passing game, and if the Steelers catch fire at some point, Johnson could still put up some great fantasy numbers.

Dynasty Leagues

So even if Johnson’s stats are less than delightful, you could use Johnson sparingly in 2022, and he could end up back on top in 2023. The Steelers have decided to give Johson his extension and he’s talented enough to keep up some hefty fantasy numbers.

So you will want to keep Johnson on your dynasty bench in any event. Then the alternative exists that Trubisky or Pickett can go on a roll and with the Steelers extending Johnson fantasy owners should hedge their bets with Johnson, especially in dynasty leagues.
