Special Pittsburgh Betting Promo: Win $150 Free by Betting Steelers-Bengals Week 1

The Big Ben era in Pittsburgh ended with a prolonged whimper, and now Mitchell Trubisky will man the helm until rookie signal caller Kenny Pickett takes the reins.

Hoping to revitalize his career after flaming out in Chicago, Trubisky should be a sizeable upgrade over Roethlisberger at the least. Regardless, Steelers fans have reason to rejoice. Why? Because FanDuel Sportsbook is giving you $150 in free bets guaranteed. Yeah, you’ll be leaping like Najee Harris once you feel the joy from all that money in your account.

Even though it doesn’t matter if you win or lose that initial wager, here’s how I’m betting the Steelers season opener:

Steelers vs Bengals Prediction and Pick

Steelers +6.5 (-115) vs Bengals

I likely don’t need to tell you how great Mike Tomlin is as an underdog. In Pittsburgh’s last 29 games as an underdog under Tomlin, the Steelers are 20-8-1 against the spread (ATS). That even includes a poor stretch at the end of last season when it became clear Ben Roethlisberger was no longer a viable quarterback option.

Pittsburgh still has an elite defense, and Najee Harris is among the NFL’s best running backs. With Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, and rookie George Pickens comprising one of the league’s best wide receiver rooms, there’s a ton of talent in the Steelers’ locker room.

As a road underdog, the Steelers are 15-7 in their last 22. This line is just too large for an excellent roster with a significant quarterback improvement, even if that quarterback is Mitch Trubisky.

Cincinnati is just 3-5 in its last eight games as a home favorite, and I’m expecting a step-back from the Bengals after a wild run of turnover luck helped propel them to the Super Bowl.

Death, taxes, and Mike Tomlin covering as an underdog. Back the Steelers to keep this divisional matchup close as Pittsburgh’s defense hounds Joe Burrow.

Hey, even if I’m wrong and the Steelers get blown out, we’re all still winners thanks to FanDuel Sportsbook. Don’t forget to claim your $150 in free bets. Bet $5, win $150, sign up for FanDuel now!
