Mike Tomlin came through for us once again as the Pittsburgh Steelers cashed as +225 underdogs against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. The Steelers find themselves as ‘dogs once again this week at home against the New England Patriots. I love Pittsburgh’s chances of securing another upset at +110 odds, but this time FanDuel Sportsbook is giving Steelers fans a no-risk $1,000 free bet to utilize:

A $1,000 bet on Pittsburgh last week profited $2,250. Odds of +110 in Week 2 would profit $1,110, and FanDuel Sportsbook has a risk-free promo to help us win big.

3 Reasons the Steelers Will Upset the Patriots

Defensive Dominance

Pittsburgh suffered a brutal loss with TJ Watt heading to the IR, but this is still one of the NFL’s best and deepest defenses.

Minkah Fitzpatrick is the league’s best safety, Myles Jack was electric, and Alex Highsmith recorded three sacks. In total, the Steelers sacked Joe Burrow seven times while forcing five turnovers. It was comprehensive dominance, and the Patriots offense looked disastrous in scoring just seven points against Miami.

It’s hard to be better than Pittsburgh’s defense was in Week 1, but you can expect another lights-out performance.

Mike Tomlin

We’re at a point where you need to just bet the Steelers every single time they’re an underdog. The Steelers are now 48-26-3 against the spread (ATS) as an underdog under Tomlin, and they’re historically excellent at home in this spot.

In Pittsburgh’s last 14 games as home underdogs, the Steelers are 10-4 outright with five consecutive wins. Against the spread? They’re 10-2-2. Tomlin always finds a way to keep his squad competitive, and that alone gives Pittsburgh value.

The Patriots Stink

Bill Belichick might be mailing it in. After bringing in Matt Patricia and Joe Judge to hold critical offensive coaching positions they’ve never previously held and install an offensive system the Patriots have never ran, New England crumbled.

Mac Jones looked terrible against Miami with two turnovers and the rushing attack gained a pathetic 3.5 yards per carry. The Patriots scored only seven points while needing a defensive penalty on 4th down to even get that many.

New England is just 1-4 in its last five games and I’ve got no faith it’ll turn things around soon.

Before you fire up your Steelers +110 wager, don’t forget to claim that $1,000 no-sweat bet from FanDuel Sportsbook. Pittsburgh is in a great position to open 2022 with a 2-0 record, so make sure your bank account is ready to take advantage.
