The Pittsburgh Steelers host the New England Patriots in Week 2. Here are the three best prop bets to make for this AFC matchup.

After a thrilling Week 1 upset over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Pittsburgh Steelers look to start 2-0 on the season as they host the New England Patriots in Week 2. Bill Belichick’s team is coming off a road loss in Miami in which they were only able to muster up 7 points and will be on the road for the second straight week.

The Steelers, meanwhile, had plenty of offensive struggles of their own, and this game has the makings of a defensive slugfest. If you are considering putting a bit more incentive on the game, here are the three best prop bets you could make for Steelers vs Patriots in Week 2:

Najee Harris UNDER 51.5 yards Prop Bet (-115)

Najee Harris did leave the game before the end of regulation last week, but he was only able to manage 23 yards on 10 carries. While this number would have increased some, it would have required an extra quarter of play in overtime to do so. Right now, Pittsburgh’s offensive line just isn’t creating any running room.

We are taking the under for Najee’s rushing yards this week. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Harris’s yards are set at 51.5. New England managed just 65 total yards on the ground vs Dolphins last week and allowed 2.8 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Najee was dinged up with a foot injury last week, and the Steelers could look to limit his touches a bit in Week 2. We feel this is a pretty safe bet.

Diontae Johnson OVER 54.5 yards Prop Bet (-125)

Considering the volume he’s still going to get in Pittsburgh’s offense, it’s a safe bet to assume that Diontae Johnson will hit the over on his receiving yards this week (currently set at 54.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook). Despite being inefficient with his 12 targets last week and averaging just 7.9 yards per reception, Johnson still managed 55 yards on the afternoon. Assuming Mitch Trubisky has slightly more success passing his way, this is a number he should be able to top with relative ease.

Pat Freiermuth Anytime TD Scorer Prop Bet (+125)

We took Pat Freiermuth as an anytime touchdown scorer last week and nearly cashed in. Trubisky gave him an end zone target at the goal line, but there was a defender draped on him in a play that could have been called pass interference. Considering the fact that Freiermuth was the team’s lead receiver in Week 1 (5 catches for 75 yards) and was targeted 10 times, I think there’s a fairly good chance he gets his first touchdown of the season against the Patriots. Expect Trubisky to continue to look his way.
