The Pittsburgh Steelers play the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football. Here are the best bets you could make for this Week 3 AFC North matchup.

After both teams fell to 1-1 on the season with losses in Week 2, these AFC North rivals are going to look to avoid dropping their second straight game — this time in an all-important matchup with a division al opponent. While the first two weeks can be eratic, we have already learned a lot about the strengths and weaknesses of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns.

Mike Tomlin’s defense has been one of the best units in the league thus far, but their offense clearly hasn’t taken the step forward that it needs in order to be successful. Meanwhile, the Browns are still putting up yards and points under the direction of interim quarterback, Jacoby Brissett, but their defense is currently ranked near the bottom of the league.

If you are looking to add a little more incentive to this Steelers vs Browns matchup on Thursday Night Football, here are the three best bets you could make:

Best Steelers Bets Week 3:

Jacoby Brissett Most Passing Yards (+108)

I was a little surprised to see that Jacoby Brissett has the better payout than Mitch Trubisky to lead this game in passing yards, via Fandeul Sportsbook. While Brissett hasn’t lit the world on fire, he’s coming off a performance in which he completed 22 of 27 passes for 229 yards against the New York Jets.

Meanwhile, Mitch Trubisky is averaging 181 passing yards per game and he hasn’t topped 194 yards in either of his first two contests. The Browns do have a suspect pass defense, but Matt Canada’s game plan has been to check everything down underneath, and when the Steelers do take shots, they haven’t been successful downfield. I think Brissett at +108 to lead this game in passing yards is a solid bet with respectable odds.

Amari Cooper Most Receiving Yards (+440)

These first two bets go hand in hand somewhat. If Brissett is leading the game in passing yards, you may want to double-down with Amari Cooper leading the game in receiving yards. Cooper is coming off a game in which he earned 9 catches on 10 targets for 101 yards. This is nearly doubled what Steelers WR Diontae Johnson has combined in his first two games and more than any other player on Pittsburgh this season. At +440 odds, this bet is hard to pass up.

Steelers Moneyline (+168)

At the end of the day, we do believe that the Pittsburgh Steelers should come away with a victory against the Cleveland Browns. While a Mitch Trubisky-led offense has been stagnant to this point, We would expect them to do a bit more against a poor Browns defense that is missing pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney and has several other players on IR. Earning 17 points in this contest could be enough to get the job done. We like the Steelers moneyline at +168.

Mitch Trubisky will be top Steelers player to watch vs Browns. light. Trending
