The Pittsburgh Steelers will attempt to salvage their season against the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. Here are the odds and our predictions for the game.

It hasn’t been the season that Pittsburgh Steelers fans were hoping for. Fresh off their bye week, Mike Tomlin will look to have his team firing on all cylinders, as they can ill-afford another loss. At 2-6, hopes of being a relevant team in 2022 are hanging on by a thread, and there will be jobs at stake if this team doesn’t turn things around in a hurry.

This week, the Steelers get a relatively favorable matchup against the Saints. New Orleans is coming off a 27-13 loss to the Ravens on Monday Night Football and they have now lost six of their last eight games dating back to Week 2.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh has had two weeks to prepare to play the Saints at home. They are well-rested and getting healthy, and the potential return of T.J. Watt could play a massive factor in this one. But will it be enough to emerge victorious? Here are the odds for Steelers vs Saints in Week 10:

Steelers vs Saints Odds Week 10

The Pittsburgh Steelers enter Week 10 as 2.5-point underdogs against the Saints. Despite this contest taking place on their home turf at Acrisure Stadium, oddsmakers at Fanduel Sportsbook give the edge to New Orleans. The Steelers have a moneyline of +122 and the over/under for this game is currently set at just 41.5 points.

Steelers vs Saints Prediction Week 10

The Steelers simply have not been a good team this year. However, there is reason to believe that they could pull off the upset this week. While they were blown out against the Eagles just before their bye, Pittsburgh was able to keep things really tight with both the Buccaneers and the Dolphins in the two games prior (thanks in large part to their defense).

ESPN’s Brooke Pryor expects T.J. Watt to return to the field against the Saints this week. His absence has taught us that the Steelers simply look like a different defense when he plays. He may be able to help contain the NFL’s 11th-best scoring offense this week.

Even with Pittsburgh’s struggles, we are going against the grain this week and predicting a Steelers win. They have had two full weeks to get healthy and prepare to play New Orleans, while the Saints have just days to prepare after coming off a Monday night game.

Both teams know what’s on the line here, but we like the Steelers +126 moneyline and the under this week on the 41.5 points. We predict Mike Tomlin’s team will advance to 3-6 with a final score of 20-17.
