The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the New Orleans Saints in Week 10 for a do-or-die matchup. Here are the best prop bets you can make on the game this week.

The 2-6 Pittsburgh Steelers are about to enter a slugfest against the 3-6 New Orleans Saints. A loss for either team would prove detrimental at this point, as both teams’ hopes hang on by a thread. While Pittsburgh is dead last in the NFL in point differential at -77, Mike Tomlin’s team does hold a competitive advantage in this one against a debilitated opponent.

Fresh off their bye, the Steelers have had two weeks to prepare for this must-win game against the Saints. Meanwhile, New Orleans is coming off a disheartening Monday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

These are two equally disappointing teams about to square off this Sunday, so predicting a winner won’t be easy. Despite the Steelers being slight home underdogs at +1.5, via Fanduel Sportsbook, we are taking some bets favoring Pittsburgh in this one.

Steelers OVER 2.5 touchdown Prop Bet (+155)

The Steelers are currently the second-lowest-scoring team in the NFL at 15.0 points per game, so getting two touchdowns in a single contest is a chore for them. However, Kenny Pickett is still very early in his playing career, and we expect him to show some improvements coming off a bye against a pedestrian secondary.

The Saints are 28th in the NFL in scoring defense — allowing 25.2 points per game, according to Team Rankings. Though the Steelers seem unlikely to reach this total, we do think this is a good game to bet on them having their first three-touchdown contest of the season. At +155 odds per DraftKings Sportsbook, it’s a worthwhile gamble.

Steelers to Win By 1-6 Points Prop Bet (+390)

In our betting preview earlier this week, we predicted the Steelers to win this game — even when they were +3. Since then, the line has tightened and after watching how New Orleans performed in their most recent matchup, we believe Pittsburgh is the favorite to emerge victorious.

If they do come away with a win, it probably won’t be by much, as the Steelers are allergic to blowing teams out. For this reason, it could be wise to go with an interesting prop bet of Steelers winning by 1-6 points. This gives a significant odds boost as opposed to simply betting the moneyline. At +390, this is a great week to try this.

Steelers +1.5 and UNDER 39.5 Points Prop Bet (+245)

Since we are taking the Steelers to win this one, we prefer to get an odds boost with a spread/total prop bet. In addition to having the Steelers cover the +1.5 spread, we think that this game will still be under 39.5 points.

If Pittsburgh is to win, it’s not going to come in a shootout. Even if Pickett’s offense puts up three touchdowns this week, we still think this game could finish under 40 points, as T.J. Watt is set to make his return against Andy Dalton and an offense that struggled against the Ravens. With +245 odds, we like this spread/total prop bet.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
