The Pittsburgh Steelers are nearly at full strength for a must-win game today against the Falcons. Here are their inactives for Week 13.
Though Pittsburgh dealt with the loss of their best player for much of the season, the Steelers have been one of the healthiest teams in the league on paper since the return of T.J. Watt. This string of good health comes just in time as their 2022 season will be on the line once again today — this time against the 5-7 Atlanta Falcons.
The big story this week was whether or not running back Najee Harris would be able to suit up after suffering an oblique injury against the Colts. Despite missing the first two days of practice to open the week, the former first-round pick was able to log a limited practice Friday and has confirmed that he will play against the Falcons.
The Steelers are 2-1 since the bye week and seemed to have found new life in recent weeks. With nearly a full squad of healthy players across the board, Pittsburgh doesn’t have any excuses not to show up in Atlanta today.
Steelers inactives vs Falcons Week 13
Though Pittsburgh had a whopping 12 players pop up on their official injury report this week, most of these injuries were deemed insignificant. The Steelers inactives vs the Falcons today is a list full of heath scratches:
- DL Isaiahh Loudermilk
- LB Mark Robinson
- QB Mason Rudolph
- OG Kendrick Green
- CB Josh Jackson
Once again, Ahkello Witherspoon will be out of commission with a hamstring injury. This time, the team finally determined that his injury was serious to send him to IR (which is why he doesn’t count as one of the inactives). After starting for Pittsburgh in Weeks 1-3, Witherspoon attempted to make a comeback in Week 8 but found himself back on the sideline after just 30 snaps.
With the team returning to health, DL Isaiahh Loudermilk and LB Buddy Johnson go back to being healthy scratches. They will be watching from the sidelines in street clothes.
For the most part, the team is looking very healthy at the moment. T.J. Watt was able to practice in limited fashion all week and is listed as questionable for today’s game, but he’s expected to suit up. Meanwhile, Jaylen Warren is listed as questionable despite logging full practices all week long, but it looks like he will go today. He was absent against the Colts with a hamstring injury. WR Miles Boykin will also return to his special teams after missing Week 12.
The rest of the inactives remain most of the same as third-string quarterback, Mason Rudolph, and depth cornerback Josh Jackson will both be inactive this week.
