The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Here are our predictions and their odds against the Panthers in Week 15.

Pittsburgh’s loss against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday will prove to be the final nail in the coffin of their 2022 season. Another head injury to quarterback Kenny Pickett was the last thing that Steelers fans wanted to see, and the loss only added insult to injury.

Now Mike Tomlin will do everything in his power to try to keep his streak alive of never having a season below .500 as a head coach. Even against a pedestrian team like the Carolina Panthers, this could prove to be an issue. It’s unknown who will be under center this week for Pittsburgh, and Mitch Trubisky made some costly mistakes in Week 14 — making the QB outlook shaky at best this week. Here are our predictions and the odds for the Steelers vs Panthers in Week 15.

Steelers vs Panthers Odds Week 15

Following the Week 14 loss to the Ravens, the Pittsburgh Steelers upon the week as 1.5-point road underdogs to the Carolina Panthers, according to Fanduel Sportsbook. Mike Tomlin’s team has a moneyline of +114 and the over/under for this game is set at just 38.5 points. This is a very discouraging line against a bottom-dwelling team like Carolina.

Steelers vs Panthers Prediction Week 15

While we might not like that the Steelers are underdogs against a pedestrian football team like the Panthers, it’s hard to say that it’s not warranted. Though Pittsburgh has a better record since the bye week, their most recent sample of play has been quite disappointing. Now oddsmakers must take into account their questionable quarterback outlook this week.

After landing on concussion protocol for the second time in two months, there’s a very good chance Kenny Pickett will be unable to suit up. This Steelers team has not produced very good results with Mitch Trubisky at the helm, and the veteran’s three interceptions against Baltimore helped seal Pittsburgh’s fate.

Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers have outscored their opponents 53-34 over the past two weeks. On Sunday, they put up 30 against the Seahawks in a win on the road.

This is a really tough game to predict because of the quarterback situation. With Mike Tomlin’s reputation on the line, we would expect a bounceback performance from Pittsburgh. We like the Steelers moneyline this week as we think they can win a 20-17 game on the road in Week 15.
