Atlanta Falcons (5-8) vs New Orleans Saints (4-9), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

Atlanta is turning to a rookie quarterback to try and spark a late-season triumph to get into the playoffs. Desmond Ridder has been sitting behind the starter and trying to learn through mental reps on the sideline. Andy Dalton is not doing great things as the starter for New Orleans, but the coaching staff refuses to make a change.

Prediction: Saints 24, Falcons 14

A potential snooze fest could be in order as both clubs are not playing great football right now. The Falcons will rely on Ridder a lot and that could force a couple of turnovers going in the other direction. The Saints seem like they should be able to do enough on defense to get a home win in front of their fans.

Pittsburgh Steelers (5-8) vs Carolina Panthers (5-8), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

The Steelers hit the road after losing their season in front of their fans after a couple of weeks of hope. They head to Carolina to take on the Panthers, who have started to show steady signs of improvement since they made a coaching change. The possibility of being without Kenny Pickett at quarterback for the Steelers could be enough to turn the tides of this one.

Prediction: Panthers 20, Steelers 16

Pittsburgh will likely stick with Mitch Trubisky even though fans begin to demand Mason Rudolph to start if Pickett cannot play. If Pickett plays, then it seems like the black and gold should have a stronger chance of winning, but it’s going to be close. Carolina just upset the Seahawks last week and that could lead to a storm against the Steelers that many do not expect.

Philadelphia Eagles (12-1) vs Chicago Bears (3-10), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

One would imagine that this contest will not be close in any sense of the word. The Eagles continue to show that they are the best-constructed roster in the NFL right now as their record speaks for itself. Chicago will likely be without Justin Fields again at quarterback and that will take away any hope of upset for the Bears.

Prediction: Eagles 29, Bears 17

Another blowout performance by Philadelphia as their great season pushes further. They should be able to shut down a terrible offense with a backup quarterback taking the reins in the Windy City. Chicago is coming off their bye week, but that will not save them from the beasts that will drop down from the sky this week.

Kansas City Chiefs (10-3) vs Houston Texans (1-11-1), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

We reach another blowout opportunity for the NFL this week as Kansas City gets ready to take on the worst team in football. Houston has not been able to find any stable ground this season as they flip-flop between their top two quarterbacks as the starter. It looks like a lot of turnover will be hitting that team in just a month or so.

Prediction: Chiefs 42, Texans 20

This contest should not be close as these two could not be any more different on the talent spectrum. Even if Patrick Mahomes was not in the lineup, it would seem like the Chiefs should be the favorites. Houston just has too much turmoil right now to stay competitive in a game like this.

Dallas Cowboys (10-3) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (5-8), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

When the schedulers made this matchup before the season began, they probably imagined this being a terrible game. Jacksonville is starting to change the narrative on themselves with Trevor Lawrence and company starting to produce. The young Jaguars are far from contenders, but they have shown the ability to shock some teams.

Prediction: Cowboys 26, Jaguars 24

Dak Prescott is leading a strong offensive attack in Dallas currently. Jacksonville has some bright spots on their team, but the defensive side of the ball is not their best. Lawrence has seemed to have turned a corner in the past couple of weeks and should be able to become a major thorn in the side until the very end of this one.

Detroit Lions (6-7) vs New York Jets (7-6), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

Detroit is right in the middle of a playoff hunt as they try and sneak into a wildcard opening. Their offense has been able to carry them to their current record, and they seem like they will not be slowing down anytime soon. New York is starting to fall back since their hot start to the year, but Mike White will do his best with some injured ribs.

Prediction: Lions 27, Jets 22

White has been solid since becoming the Jets starter, but he will struggle with his injury. Jared Goff is not getting enough respect for what he has been able to accomplish this season with the Lions. That offense is very talented and put up a lot of points every week, which included last week against Minnesota.
