The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Carolina to face the Panthers in Week 15. Here are the three best prop bets you can make for this matchup.

After falling to the Baltimore Ravens in a must-win game last Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers might not have much left to play for this year other than pride. Their playoff chances have now plummeted to the point where it would require them to win out and multiple things to go their way to make the tournament.

Still, with just four games left this year, Steelers fans will no doubt tune in to watch their team take the stage before we begin another long NFL offseason. Let’s incentivize the game a bit more this week. Here are the three best prop bets you can make for Steelers vs Panthers in Week 15:

Pat Freiermuth Anytime TD Prop Bet (+280)

Pat Freiermuth ended his touchdown drought with a score late in the game against the Ravens. His overall lack of production in the end zone hasn’t been due to a lack of targets. The opportunities have been there, but off-the-mark passes and coming up just short of the goal line has gotten in his way.

Regardless, it’s hard to pass up +280 odds for Pittsburgh’s most reliable pass-catcher to come away with a score against the Panthers this week. Even with a shaky quarterback situation, DraftKings Sportsbook is offering a good payout this week. Freiermuth has averaged over 7 targets per game since Week 7, and we like his chances of coming away with a score this week. Freiermuth has been dealing with a minor foot injury but said he will be good to go for Sunday.

Sam Darnold OVER 0.5 Passing TD Prop Bet (-115)

Even for a quarterback as underwhelming as Sam Darnold, it’s not hard to believe that he could come away with at least one passing touchdown in Week 15. The Panthers have plenty of coaches and players with jobs on the line down the stretch, and Darnold is no exception.

Despite relying heavily on the run, Darnold has thrown a touchdown in his two lone starts this year — both resulting in wins. The Steelers defense typically holds the rushing attack pretty well in the red zone, so Darnold may be forced to punch in a score or two through the air.

D’Onta Foreman OVER 70.5 Rushing Yards Prop Bet (-115)

Pittsburgh’s interior defensive line has been embarrassing over the last three weeks, and there’s no reason to suspect it will get any better in Week 15. Even with Christian McCaffrey gone, Carolina has been sticking it to their opponents on the ground over the last four weeks — averaging 169 rushing yards per game, per ESPN stats.

Meanwhile, D’Onta Foreman has had four 100-yard rushing performances since the McCaffrey trade and has earned under 74 yards just twice since Week 6. At -115 odds, the payout isn’t great, but this seems like a pretty safe bet considering the Steelers just allowed 215 rushing yards to the Ravens last week.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
