Pittsburgh is set to kick off against the Carolina Panthers in Week 15. Here are the Steelers inactives for today’s game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were pretty healthy heading into Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately, they suffered a few injury setbacks. Defensive lineman, Chris Wormley was lost for the rest of the season with an ACL injury, while Kenny Pickett’s second concussion of the season raises cause for concern.

This week, Pittsburgh added several starters to their injury report. Seven starters missed practice time with ailments this week, including players like Pat Freiermuth, Najee Harris, Myles Jack, Larry Ogunjobi, and Diontae Johnson.

Fortunately, all of these players were able to log at least a limited practice on Friday and most will suit up today. However, two starters will be forced to watch the sidelines. This impacts the Steelers inactives list against the Carolina Panthers in Week 15.

Steelers inactives vs Panthers Week 15

With a few players key unable to go, the Pittsburgh Steelers altered their inactives list for this week. Here are Steelers inactives against the Carolina Panthers today:

  • QB Kenny Pickett
  • LB Myles Jack
  • OG Kendrick Green
  • CB Josh Jackson
  • DL Jonathan Marshall

Obviously, Kenny Pickett is the biggest loss for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15, but this team will also be without starting linebacker Myles Jack today. Jack has been dealing with a groin injury, and while he was able to practice in limited fashion on Friday, he won’t suit up today. Devin Bush and Robert Spillane will work as the starting linebackers, while rookie Mark Robinson could see some work on defense.

Pickett’s loss in particular stings. While the rookie quarterback may not move the needle much in this game, fans want to see Pickett in action and track his development. He’s going to have to wait at least another week to get on the field.

As usual, Kendrick Green and Josh Jackson won’t be called up to the active roster. They have only earned helmets this year when injuries have struck. Defensive lineman, Jonathan Marshall, is also inactive today.
