Santa needs to bring the Steelers a new offensive line for Christmas

Perhaps the biggest talking point for the Steelers besides their offensive coordinator is the offensive line. They have been showing some signs of improvement throughout the different weeks of competition, but there is no consistency. They might have a decent game one week and then come back the following week just to embarrass themselves.

Looking at who to replace along the front of the offensive line will be a challenge when it comes to stopping. James Daniels is starting to set in better with the Steelers after a rough start to his career here. Chuks Okorafor just got paid and he seems like he will be around for at least another year as a starter on the right side.

Both positions on the left side seem like they will be the two main focuses for this front. Dan Moore Jr. and Kevin Dotson are just not showing enough advancement in their careers to be reliable starters. Finding a left guard and tackle to become immediate starters would be great achievements this offseason.

You could make an argument that a center to replace Mason Cole as the starter and sliding him to left guard could also be a wise choice. Drafting an offensive lineman in the first round will be something that many fans of the Steelers will want more than any Christmas gift that they could ever receive. It might happen, but do not be shocked if they miss out on some of the top talent at those positions and have to settle for day two or three prospects.

The Steelers should have these wants high on their Christmas list to old Saint Nick. If they could get some of these things to become reality, then this team would be much more competitive this year and beyond.
