The Pittsburgh Steelers are ready to go for their Christmas Eve matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Here are the inactives for tonight’s game.

It’s been a very sad week for Pittsburgh Steelers fans leading up to this moment, and it’s not about to get any easier. On Wednesday, news broke that Franco Harris had passed away, and the football community joined together in mourning his loss.

It was just days before Harris was set to be honored at halftime and have his number 32 jersey officially retired, but the Steelers will have to pull it together tonight against a team that they have not fared well against under Mike Tomlin.

Fortunately, Pittsburgh is looking good when it comes to the health of their players just ahead of this Christmas Eve matchup (with the exception of one starter). Even as these teams both sit at 6-8, all eyes will be on this primetime matchup that marks the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception. Here are Pittsburgh’s inactive for tonight’s game in Week 16.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have practically a clean bill of health as they gear up for this primetime matchup just before the holidays, and there’s only one loss that could sting a bit tonight. There will be no holding back this week. Here are the Steelers inactives vs Raiders:

  • S Terrell Edmunds
  • QB Mason Rudolph
  • LB Mark Robinson
  • OG Kendrick Green
  • DL Jonathan Marshall

Terrell Edmunds is the one big inactive this week. The veteran safety and former first-round pick is coming off a solid game against the Panthers. The Steelers could use Damontae Kazee in his absence.

The return of Kenny Pickett means that Mitch Trubisky will resume backup duties while Mason Rudolph will revert back to being a healthy scratch for tonight’s game.

Just last week, there was a large crowd of Steelers fans who were vying for him to be named the starter against the Carolina Panthers. However, barring a pair of injuries in the final three games, he may not see the field again until 2023, and that could come with another team.

As usual, offensive guard and former third-round pick, Kendrick Green, will be a healthy scratch. Joining him in street clothes will be QB Mason Rudolph, LB Mark Robinson, and DL Jonathan Marshall.
