The Pittsburgh Steelers are still alive in the race for the AFC playoffs and a Week 17 win against the Baltimore Ravens would be a big step forward in pulling off the improbable.

The Ravens have already locked up their spot, but they’re still trying to chase down the Cincinnati Bengals for the top spot in the AFC North.

It’s an all time matchup set to go down on Sunday Night Football, and I have a feeling it’s going to be another legendary chapter in the storied rivalry.

Let’s dive into the betting odds, as well as my Steelers vs. Ravens prediction.

Steelers vs. Ravens odds, spread, and total

Steelers vs. Ravens betting trends

  • Steelers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games
  • Steelers are 4-2 ATS in their last six road games
  • The UNDER is 6-2 in the Steelers’ last eight games in Baltimore
  • Ravens are 2-4 ATS in their last six games
  • The UNDER is 6-1 in the Ravens’ last seven games
  • Ravens are 1-4 ATS in last five home games against Steelers

Steelers vs. Ravens prediction and pick

The Baltimore Ravens have done enough in recent weeks to win football games and clinch a playoff spot, but I have no faith in laying points on them, especially in a tough rivalry matchup.

There’s reportedly a 50% chance Lamar Jackson will be returning to the lineup this week, but based on Jackson’s history of not rushing back from injury, I’m going to ponder a guess and say that we will see Tyler Huntley once again taking snaps for Baltimore.

That’s bad news for Ravens fans and bettors. In the four games that Huntley has played, the Ravens have averaged only 11.5 points per game.

Meanwhile, the Steelers offense has played some of the best football they’ve played this season. They’ve averaged 17 points per game over their last three outings, while also averaging 5.4 yards per snap.

In the last meeting between these two teams, which took place just a few weeks ago, the Ravens won by a final score of 16-14, but Steelers outplayed them, averaging 6.2 yards per play compared to Baltimore, who averaged 5.1.

I’ll take the three points with the Steelers.
