Steelers creep out of last place to keep playoff hopes alive

Christmas Eve saw the Steelers take the field with heavy hearts as they celebrated the life of Franco Harris. The memorial game of the man and the Immaculate Reception fueled the black and gold to a tight contest. It saw many ups and downs that ended in a glorious victory, which got the Steelers another week in the playoff hunt.

Not only was Pittsburgh able to keep their playoff chances alive, but they were also able to keep Mike Tomlin’s non-losing season streak going as well. There is little hope for this club to make the post-season, but they are giving it their best shot to end on a positive note. They did a great job honoring Harris’s life and the amazing play that will honor his memory in the Steel City forever.

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-8) vs Baltimore Ravens (10-5), Sunday at 8:20 P.M. EST

Welcome back to reality as the black and gold will head on the road to take on the Ravens. They lost to Baltimore a couple of weeks ago, and the Steelers will try their best to upset the favorite in this one. It is going to be another tough game for the black and gold to win, especially if Lamar Jackson returns from his knee injury.

Kenny Pickett will hopefully stay healthy this time around, and that will give this team a better chance to win. Baltimore manhandled the trenches on both sides of the ball last time, so Pittsburgh needs to be better in that department for a chance to win. The Steelers are going to play their hearts out to try and keep the hope alive, but it might not be enough this week.
