The Steelers are still alive for the playoffs and the credit should go to Mike Tomlin

As I have said before, I am a supporter of Mike Tomlin, but I am not a Tomlin apologist.  Well, after the game we played against the Ravens, there is no need to do anything except praise the job he and his coaching staff did.

Again, we were a bit shaky on defense, we missed a very makeable FG and we only scored one TD on offense, but that proved to be enough to get out of Baltimore with a win that keeps our playoff hopes alive for another week.

Earlier in the season, many fans were questioning whether or not Tomlin should be on the hot seat after his 2-6 start, and some believe that he should be even after weathering the storm. However, there’s no question that he has helped this team trend in the right direction since the bye week.

I still think Tomlin needs to overhaul the coaching staff after the season as there continue to be struggles both on offense and on defense but that’s a conversation for another time.  As of right now, let’s bask in the glory of a victory against the Ravens and laud the performance of our team and of our head coach.
