The Steelers have set themselves up to sneak into the playoffs heading into week 18 of competition around the AFC North division.

The AFC North division is ramping up to an exciting end as the Steelers make a last-minute push for the playoffs. The top two clubs in the group will battle for the top seat in the division as the NFL is working out some unique circumstances. The terrible situation that occurred with Damar Hamlin during the Bills game against Cincinnati last week could bring different changes.

That game was postponed and there seems to be no continuation in the works. That will put The Bengals without a game while they host the Ravens for the division lead. It will be interesting to see how the subtraction of a game will alter the playoff picture when it is all said and done. This situation is something the NFL has never seen before, and they will look at different avenues to address this game cancelation moving forward.

Cleveland won but they still sit in last place in the standings

Last week saw the Browns take care of business to a cooled off Washington Commanders club. Just a couple of weeks ago, Washington was thriving with Taylor Heinicke at the quarterback spot. That momentum stalled, and Cleveland was able to get the win. Deshaun Watson had a decent game, but it was nothing spectacular.

Cleveland Browns (7-9) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (8-8), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

Cleveland will try and play spoiler to the Steelers during this final week of competition. They are going to get the best of Pittsburgh as they try to keep their slight playoff hopes alive. Playing for the post season is one thing but keeping Mike Tomlin’s historic non-losing season alive will be a major factor as well. The Browns will try and destroy both of those aspirations in this one.
