Steelers could make playoffs in latest AFC North standings

Baltimore is struggling without Lamar Jackson in the starting lineup

Things are starting to look somber for Baltimore as the playoffs creep closer. They have a spot in the post season dance, but there are a lot of things not going in their favor in recent weeks. Lamar Jackson continues to deal with a knee injury and that could affect his play even when he returns from that issue.

They are coming off a loss to the Steelers and will get ready to take on the Bengals this week. The Ravens are limping into the playoffs, and it seems like the writing could be on the wall if Jackson is not able to come back fully healthy for the playoffs. The offense is struggling to produce points and the defense has its own injury issues to worry about.

Baltimore Ravens (10-6) vs Cincinnati Bengals (11-4), Sunday at 1 P.M. EST

It is too bad that Jackson is not healthy as both clubs head into this game for what seemingly would be the winner-take-all scenario for the division. Upon writing this article, it is still unknown how the NFL will delegate the game that will neither count nor go against the Bengals from last week.  Baltimore was able to win the first game between these two earlier in the season.

Without Jackson, it looks like a tough scenario for the Ravens to overcome on the road against a tough offense. The injury report will be huge not only for this week for Baltimore, but it will also be vital as the playoffs creep into the picture. This club looks like it could be out of the playoff race just after it gets started.
