Even though their most recent run didn’t end the way we‘d hoped, the Steelers have still given us multiple things to look forward to for 2023.

After completing a season, regardless of how good or bad it was, the prime goal should be to not only learn from it, but to successfully build off of it. When looking at what the Steelers have within reach following their 2022-23 stretch, that should hopefully not be too difficult for them to do.

I am on the record as having said that the Steelers finished their season on a relatively decent note. To finish the season 9-8 despite a 1-4 start, iffy quarterback situation, and T.J. Watt’s injury is what I would call “making something out of nothing.”

Pittsburgh has managed to do such a thing in the past, and seeing it be done once more helps us remember that through it all, the Steelers will never be down for the count. That’s a very comforting tone to set as we enter this dreadful football drought.

With all of that said, us fans only have one thing to do until further notice (other than watch the playoffs), and that is to look ahead to next season—a season that should give us noticeably more than this last one did.

Simply put, the 2023-24 Steelers should be quite the redeeming squad, one that will be able to give us things that its predecessors couldn’t. And we are going to take a look at some of those things today.

So without further ado, here are three things that we should already hope to see from next season’s Steelers.
