Steelers must keep eyes on these players at the 2023 Senior Bowl
Honorable mentions for Steelers to watch at the Senior Bowl
Pittsburgh has plenty of needs heading into the offseason and the senior bowl is the first place to start looking to fill them. The players mentioned above aren’t the only guys the front office should keep an eye on in Mobile.
Alabama’s Henry To’o To’o is one to watch at linebacker for Pittsburgh. He has sideline-to-sideline speed and has experience in a tough conference playing in the SEC. He is a little undersized but makes up for it with physicality and toughness.
Isaiah Foskey from Notre Dame is another great prospect to mention with Alex Highsmith entering a contract year in 2023. He is an explosive edge rusher who amassed 23 tackles-for-loss and 20.5 sacks in his last two seasons as a full-time starter.
Cody Mauch and Blake Freeland are two more offensive linemen to watch in Mobile. Both guys are anywhere from late day two to the middle of day three guys along the offensive line that can provide instant depth at a position that needs to improve for Kenny Pickett to continue to grow.
The Steelers’ offseason is going to be important to the development of Kenny Pickett. The 2023 Senior Bowl is going to be the first of many stepping stones to making it a success and these players mentioned could be the keys to sending Kenny Pickett to the next step in his career.
