1. Cameron Sutton, CB, Pittsburgh Steelers

For as well as he played during the 2022 season, Cameron Sutton still might be the most underrated player on the Pittsburgh Steelers. While he has never gotten by with elite athletic traits or excellent size and length, Sutton uses his wits and ball skills to elevate the defense.

This past season, Sutton had a career year — earning career highs in interceptions (3) and passes defended (15). Sutton also allowed just a 65.3 passer rating when targeted and surrendered a completion percentage of 47.9 percent.

His impressive and consistent play earned him a very respectable 72.2 grade via Pro Football Focus Sutton is a free agent this year, but we believe the Steelers will do everything in their power to make sure their best cornerback returns for the 2023 season and beyond.

Sutton still needs to take one more step forward in order to be in serious consideration for the Pro Bowl, but it’s certainly possible. He’s a player who seems to improve year after year. Sutton will still be in the prime of his career at 28 years old during the 2023 season and there’s no reason to believe he can’t make a slight jump for Pro Bowl consideration.
